Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Scotty Estrada in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Betão Pontes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ludomir Zacharek's late challenge caught a Tango en Miami FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ludomir Zacharek helped the player get up and apologised. Ludomir Zacharek kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. If Lucjan Werra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tango en Miami FC's Graig Davenport proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Tango en Miami FC from getting a goal against them. 11 minutes into the match, Tango en Miami FC's goalkeeper Graig Davenport had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ludomir Zacharek. John Crabtree struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Betão Pontes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tango en Miami FC. John Crabtree took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Betão Pontes. Betão Pontes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 20 minutes into the match, GKS Katowice's goal looked a bit too open when Graham Kearney came free, but Betão Pontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Graig Davenport made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Ludomir Zacharek sent off a good shot on target. Betão Pontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Scotty Estrada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th match minute, GKS Katowice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacek Birkenhagen to maneuver through the defense. Jack Shaw took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Betão Pontes. GKS Katowice's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Oscar Christensen charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oscar Christensen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Tango en Miami FC's Oscar Christensen got a free kick in the 28th minute. Ludomir Zacharek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Betão Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Crabtree in the 31st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ludomir Zacharek got free with Graig Davenport in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tango en Miami FC's Graig Davenport proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Tango en Miami FC from getting a goal against them. After 39 played minutes GKS Katowice got a freekick which was hit by Cezary Kasiewski. Betão Pontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Crabtree in the 40th minute of the match. Tango en Miami FC's John Crabtree got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 48th match minute, GKS Katowice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucjan Werra to maneuver through the defense.

GKS Katowice's Betão Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Scotty Estrada in the 59th minute of play. After 60 minutes, Emanuel Matos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tango en Miami FC and the GKS Katowice players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tango en Miami FC's Emanuel Matos got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 64th minute Cezary Kasiewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Graig Davenport saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Tango en Miami FC's Scotty Estrada slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Betão Pontes. That made the score 0-2 after 66 minutes of play. Scotty Estrada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betão Pontes having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Tango en Miami FC's zone, Ludomir Zacharek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Graig Davenport came out of the goal and Ludomir Zacharek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to GKS Katowice getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Ludomir Zacharek hit a great ball. In the 76th match minute, GKS Katowice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cezary Kasiewski to maneuver through the defense. Scotty Estrada scored 0-3 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Betão Pontes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Ludomir Zacharek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Graig Davenport was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Tango en Miami FC's zone, Ludomir Zacharek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Graig Davenport came out of the goal and Ludomir Zacharek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute Olgierd Cwojdak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Graig Davenport saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Tango en Miami FC booed when GKS Katowice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olgierd Cwojdak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Betão Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Scotty Estrada in the 91st minute of play. Chants of Tango en Miami FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as GKS Katowice had held the ball for most of the match.
