Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ludomir Zacharek made the kick off and thus started the match. 5 minutes into the match, Fae Folgore's Dariusz Kluczyk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Betão Pontes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Marco Fabelo came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Fae Folgore fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Fabelo couldn't finish the play. 21 minutes into the match, Marco Fabelo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Betão Pontes. GKS Katowice's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marco Fabelo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Marco Fabelo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Betão Pontes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Marco Fabelo scored 0-3 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Betão Pontes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 28th minute, Marco Fabelo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Betão Pontes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Marco Fabelo struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Betão Pontes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fae Folgore. In the 31st minute Marco Fabelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betão Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Marco Fabelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Betão Pontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Fabelo in the 33rd minute of the match. GKS Katowice's Betão Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerzy Augustyn in the 35th minute of play. Marco Fabelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Betão Pontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Fabelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 40 minutes into the match, GKS Katowice's goal looked a bit too open when Jakub Latocha came free, but Betão Pontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Dominik Brysz fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GKS Katowice's protests and gave Dominik Brysz a yellow card for diving instead. 42 minutes into the match, GKS Katowice's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Fabelo came free, but Betão Pontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the GKS Katowice defense, Marco Fabelo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Betão Pontes. The GKS Katowice fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Betão Pontes should have stopped the shot.

GKS Katowice's Lucjan Werra was substituted for Ludomir Zacharek. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jerzy Augustyn was the one to do the kick off. Anderson Trigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucjan Werra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Dominik Brysz in the 61st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Fae Folgore's Jordano Bruno. In the 62nd match minute, GKS Katowice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dominik Brysz to maneuver through the defense. Fae Folgore's attentive Dariusz Kluczyk managed to snatch the ball when Cezary Kasiewski made a throw-in in the 70th minute of the game. The nice shot from Marco Fabelo in the 72ndth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Betão Pontes had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. The supporters of Fae Folgore booed when GKS Katowice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cezary Kasiewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Barnaba Barniszke put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Betão Pontes. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wincenty Szarmach in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Betão Pontes saved GKS Katowice from getting behind. Betão Pontes came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Fae Folgore's Wincenty Szarmach. But to his dismay, Wincenty Szarmach quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wincenty Szarmach got free with Betão Pontes in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Betão Pontes managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Fae Folgore's Wincenty Szarmach fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Fae Folgore walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
