Willem-Jan Steuckens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radomil Szostak in the 12th minute of the match. In the 13th minute Iwo Galagan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willem-Jan Steuckens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugon Derlanga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enzo Van Beringen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Zryw Samsonów booed when KFC Paal-Tervant was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nickolas Van Turnhout didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zryw Samsonów's Hugon Derlanga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Van Beringen in the 23rd minute of play. After 27 minutes of play, KFC Paal-Tervant's Niki Van Hoeyvelt made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
