C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Santos Bartuelo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ivo Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Bernat having to interfere. In the 20th minute Mauricio Gaitano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emílio Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Las Momias F. Esteve Bernat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivo Figueiredo's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivo Figueiredo in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esteve Bernat saved Las Momias F. C. from getting behind. Uriel Jurdan was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 37 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Las Momias F. C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 37th minute. Penalty! When Mauricio Gaitano came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Las Momias F. C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauricio Gaitano couldn't finish the play. Gustave Martinot hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Enéas Seco was the one to do the kick off. Esteve Bernat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enéas Seco in the 55th minute of the match. Mauricio Gaitano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mauricio Gaitano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Emílio Motta made a huge save. Esteve Bernat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enéas Seco in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Guará FC's goalkeeper Emílio Motta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiburcio Salvatore. 82 minutes into the match, Las Momias F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ivo Figueiredo came free, but Esteve Bernat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauricio Gaitano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Emílio Motta when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Elói Bezerra hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the match, Guará FC's goalkeeper Emílio Motta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Osvaldo Bilbo. After a defensive mix-up in Las Momias F. C.'s zone, Gustave Martinot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteve Bernat came out of the goal and Gustave Martinot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th minute, Elói Bezerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Osvaldo Bilbo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emílio Motta. Guará FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 90 played minutes Guará FC got a freekick which was hit by Gustave Martinot. Las Momias F. C.'s Mauricio Gaitano was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 94th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Guará FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Las Momias F. C. had controlled the match.
