The crowd rose to their feet as FC ZARZECZE's Bogdan Udrişte slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emanuel Björkdahl. That made the score 1-0 after 18 minutes of play. Bogdan Udrişte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bogdan Udrişte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the IFK Gladdarna defense, Patrick Crippa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emanuel Björkdahl. The IFK Gladdarna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emanuel Björkdahl should have stopped the shot. 32 minutes into the match, IFK Gladdarna's goal looked a bit too open when Bogdan Udrişte came free, but Emanuel Björkdahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. IFK Gladdarna were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after FC ZARZECZE's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Niklas Lindfors took the corner. The corner ended in David Arenstedt almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC ZARZECZE's Mirek Hulk did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Udrişte in the 46th minute of play forced IFK Gladdarna's goalkeeper Emanuel Björkdahl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

IFK Gladdarna made a substitution. Jakob Koch replaced Emil Trulsson. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jakob Koch to strike the kick off in the second half.
