After 6 minutes of play, Dreamland's Jacek Mikulski made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The corner led to Dreamland's Cristiano Alagoano getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Bo Baand recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernard Niemojewski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hubert Gruber in the 14th minute. Ryttartorpets FF's Patrik Linqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duke Levy in the 16th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Duke Levy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patrik Linqvist was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. When Jacek Mikulski came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Dreamland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacek Mikulski couldn't finish the play. Bo Baand who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Bernard Niemojewski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hubert Gruber got free with Bernard Niemojewski in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th match minute, Dreamland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remigiusz Siembab to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Young Houdini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Dreamland booed when Ryttartorpets FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tord Aleberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hubert Gruber who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Bernard Niemojewski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 45th minute, Herman Mellbad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Ryttartorpets FF made a substitution. Jon Nilsson replaced Tord Aleberg. Ryttartorpets FF's Ove Kinell was substituted for Morgan Fagerberg. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bo Baand to make the kick off. Bernard Niemojewski came out of the goal and Hubert Gruber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patrik Linqvist made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Young Houdini sent off a good shot on target. In the 90th match minute, Ryttartorpets FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jon Nilsson to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Dreamland booed when Ryttartorpets FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Bergman didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ryttartorpets FF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Dreamland had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
