The crowd rose to their feet as Tango en Miami FC's Bernabe Bazo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cevat İmamoğlu. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. In the 11thth minute of the game Bernabe Bazo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EĞİRDİR SK's Cevat İmamoğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bernabe Bazo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Cevat İmamoğlu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The Tango en Miami FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Graig Davenport should have stopped the shot. Bernabe Bazo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cevat İmamoğlu having to make a save. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind EĞİRDİR SK's goalkeeper Cevat İmamoğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cevat İmamoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarvis McLaughlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Jarvis McLaughlin took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cevat İmamoğlu. Cevat İmamoğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

After some careless play in the EĞİRDİR SK defense, Jarvis McLaughlin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cevat İmamoğlu. The EĞİRDİR SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cevat İmamoğlu should have stopped the shot. In the 58thth minute of the game Bernabe Bazo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EĞİRDİR SK's Cevat İmamoğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernabe Bazo in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cevat İmamoğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner led EĞİRDİR SK's Hulusi Çimen to fire away a dangerous shot which Graig Davenport despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Hulusi Çimen's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Graig Davenport firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Bernabe Bazo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 69thth minute of the game Bernabe Bazo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EĞİRDİR SK's Cevat İmamoğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 76 minutes into the game, Rudolf Sherman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tango en Miami FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EĞİRDİR SK the free kick. EĞİRDİR SK's Hulusi Çimen got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jarvis McLaughlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cevat İmamoğlu having to interfere. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Bernabe Bazo sped through EĞİRDİR SK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cevat İmamoğlu. The audience was convinced that Bernabe Bazo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cevat İmamoğlu was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. In the 91st minute, Ragnar Bergvall made a precise shot to the right of Graig Davenport. Tango en Miami FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-2. When Bernabe Bazo came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Tango en Miami FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernabe Bazo couldn't finish the play.
