But to his dismay, Hubert Gruber quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Newcastle United FC's zone, Hubert Gruber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Otto Hermansson came out of the goal and Hubert Gruber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claes Ahlroht got free with Patrik Linqvist in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Claes Ahlroht in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Patrik Linqvist, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Claes Ahlroht's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Patrik Linqvist skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Claes Ahlroht who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Patrik Linqvist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Kim Kellbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Ryttartorpets FF's goalkeeper Patrik Linqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Max Mohammad. If Hubert Gruber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ryttartorpets FF's Patrik Linqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Ryttartorpets FF from getting a goal against them. Patrik Linqvist made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Max Mohammad sent off a good shot on target. Patrik Linqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Max Mohammad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, Ryttartorpets FF's goal looked a bit too open when Max Mohammad came free, but Patrik Linqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Pan Bin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bo Baand took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Otto Hermansson. Otto Hermansson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3.

Ryttartorpets FF's Ove Kinell was substituted for Hubert Gruber. The wind increased when Max Mohammad made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Newcastle United FC's Max Mohammad nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patrik Linqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Max Mohammad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Patrik Linqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Newcastle United FC made a substitution. Florian Liermann replaced Marko Gustavsson. Patrik Linqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claes Ahlroht, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nichifor Crivoi kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. David Bergman kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claes Ahlroht in the 67th minute of play forced Ryttartorpets FF's goalkeeper Patrik Linqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The coaching staff of Ryttartorpets FF protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and David Bergman had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ryttartorpets FF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! After some careless play in the Ryttartorpets FF defense, Tord Åström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrik Linqvist. The Ryttartorpets FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrik Linqvist should have stopped the shot. Ove Kinell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Otto Hermansson made a huge save. Patrik Linqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tord Åström in the 83rd minute of play. Otto Hermansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanley Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Patrik Linqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tord Åström in the 86th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Stanley Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ryttartorpets FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Stanley Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Otto Hermansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
