After a rather tough play, Gelp 22's Wilfredo Tipi got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Gelp 22's zone, Ruy Lara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnoldo Salamon came out of the goal and Ruy Lara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 6 in the game by Ruy Lara from a close distance when the talented Arnoldo Salamon managed to make a qualified save. Gelp 22's players were relieved. 8 minutes into the match, Gelp 22's Vinicio Muc sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arlindo Tepedino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arlindo Tepedino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinicio Muc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Ruy Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 16 minutes of play, Gelp 22's Wilfredo Tipi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arlindo Tepedino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arthur Travassos took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnoldo Salamon. Arnoldo Salamon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 28 minutes into the game, Jaime Clemencin threw the ball into play from the sideline. MelissaMel's Noel Ortiz quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Clemente Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Arnoldo Salamon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Vinicio Muc cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Arlindo Tepedino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Gelp 22's Arnoldo Salamon got control of the ball when Ruy Lara tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ruy Lara who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Arnoldo Salamon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A hard shot 40 in the game by Ruy Lara from a close distance when the talented Arnoldo Salamon managed to make a qualified save. Gelp 22's players were relieved. 43 minutes into the game, Arthur Travassos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arnoldo Salamon. Arthur Travassos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ruy Lara to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francisco de Moraes during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 52nd match minute, MelissaMel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco de Moraes to maneuver through the defense. MelissaMel's Arlindo Tepedino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save MelissaMel from getting a goal against them. Jonas Ticho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Arlindo Tepedino made a huge save. When Guto Silveira fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MelissaMel's protests and gave Guto Silveira a yellow card for diving instead. Guto Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Ruy Lara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnoldo Salamon. Gelp 22's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ruy Lara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. If Arthur Travassos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vinicio Muc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Arlindo Tepedino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruy Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arlindo Tepedino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Muc in the 75th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Dagoberto Albuquerque put it in 5-2 from a short distance just to the right of Arnoldo Salamon. A collision led to Gelp 22 getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. German Brun hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Tostão Lopez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 85 played minutes, MelissaMel's Dagoberto Albuquerque shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arnoldo Salamon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MelissaMel reached it. A collision led to Gelp 22 getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Vinicio Muc hit a great ball. Arlindo Tepedino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Muc in the 94th minute of the match. MelissaMel's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
