Olavo Dionísio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor de Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes into the game, one of MelissaMel:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Olavo Dionísio, was totally fooled by Flying Dutch's Thiago de Mendonça, who 9 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Victor de Salles was extremely unlucky when he, in the 15th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 23 minutes into the match, Victor de Salles dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Olavo Dionísio, 3-0. Olavo Dionísio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Victor de Salles showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 26 minute of play. A collision led to MelissaMel getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Frank Velasco hit a great ball. In the 32nd match minute, MelissaMel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willian Meireles to maneuver through the defense. Victor de Salles in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Olavo Dionísio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ismael Souza hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Zé Pedro Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flying Dutch's Jonathan Fonseca got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Victor de Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olavo Dionísio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor de Salles in the 45th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

If Victor de Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flying Dutch's Tiago Correia got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diego Borges during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, MelissaMel's Diego Borges got a free kick in the 57th minute. A collision led to MelissaMel getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Dagoberto Fonseca hit a great ball. Olavo Dionísio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Jonathan Fonseca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flying Dutch fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. 80 minutes into the game, Zé Pedro Montenegro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Flying Dutch's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MelissaMel the free kick. A collision led to Flying Dutch getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Zé Pedro Montenegro hit a great ball. Willian Meireles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Flying Dutch booed when MelissaMel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Paes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Flying Dutch's Ismael das Neves got a free kick in the 87th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Flying Dutch's Victor de Salles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Olavo Dionísio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Jonathan Fonseca came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Flying Dutch fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Fonseca couldn't finish the play. Flying Dutch's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
