In the 7th minute, Enéas Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Kacper Zbydniowski came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Astral Roots Gdynia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kacper Zbydniowski couldn't finish the play. Enéas Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ryszard Rutecki kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. The supporters of Astral Roots Gdynia booed when Guará FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Vítor Tepedino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute, Astral Roots Gdynia's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Enéas Seco fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Sébastien Marionneau stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flavinho Alagoano's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Enéas Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sébastien Marionneau having to interfere. Sylwester Hajduk hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute, Guará FC's Enéas Seco dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The nice shot from Enéas Seco in the 42ndth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Sébastien Marionneau had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Sébastien Marionneau didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enéas Seco went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Enéas Seco was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Vítor Tepedino during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Guará FC's José Vítor Tepedino got a free kick in the 59th minute. After having played for 60 minutes, Kacper Zbydniowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Astral Roots Gdynia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kacper Zbydniowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enéas Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 67 played minutes Astral Roots Gdynia got a freekick which was hit by Sylwester Hajduk. In the 68th minute, Luís Gustavo Gerber left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guará FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After 71 played minutes Guará FC got a freekick which was hit by José Vítor Tepedino. After a defensive mix-up in Astral Roots Gdynia's zone, Enéas Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sébastien Marionneau came out of the goal and Enéas Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 76 minutes into the match, Flavinho Alagoano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sébastien Marionneau. Astral Roots Gdynia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Flavinho Alagoano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The supporters of Astral Roots Gdynia booed when Guará FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rômulo de Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sébastien Marionneau didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enéas Seco went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score.
