The corner led FC Blåvitt's Sune Byström to fire away a dangerous shot which Ilie Oprea despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Torsten Enström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Urko, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. With an all-out effort, FC Blåvitt's Ilie Oprea threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Stig-Åke Mårtensson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Ilie Oprea successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 15th minute, Sune Byström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Yang Sang Liang fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Blåvitt's protests and gave Yang Sang Liang a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gelp 22 booed when FC Blåvitt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yang Sang Liang didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gelp 22's Alberto Martxelin got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Alberto Martxelin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gelp 22's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Martxelin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torsten Enström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sixten Eriksson got free with Ilie Oprea in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Gelp 22's Ilie Oprea got control of the ball when Sixten Eriksson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ilie Oprea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Staffan Sundén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the game, Staffan Sundén recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ilie Oprea. Staffan Sundén showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sixten Eriksson was the one to do the kick off. Ilie Oprea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Staffan Sundén in the 51st minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, Gelp 22's goal looked a bit too open when Sixten Eriksson came free, but Ilie Oprea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute Sune Byström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilie Oprea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
