Luís Paulo Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anders Vennersten in the 10th minute of the match. Tiago Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Harald Myr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Correia in the 28th minute of play. Victor de Salles scored 1-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Harald Myr, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Victor de Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrik Arhenius's late challenge caught a Flying Dutch's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patrik Arhenius helped the player get up and apologised. Patrik Arhenius hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. A collision led to Kronan getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Anders Vennersten hit a great ball. Harald Myr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Fonseca in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Victor de Salles made a precise shot to the right of Harald Myr. Kronan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anders Vennersten stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anders Vennersten in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Paulo Romero saved Flying Dutch from getting behind. Kronan made a substitution. Jarl Lindström replaced Ola Nordin. Luís Paulo Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anders Vennersten, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Luís Paulo Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konrad Tinglöv in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 76th minute Victor de Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harald Myr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Flying Dutch booed when Kronan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Ola Samuelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 80 minutes, Anders Vennersten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kronan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anders Vennersten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luís Paulo Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anders Vennersten, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute.
