After 34 played minutes Astral Roots Gdynia got a freekick which was hit by Marian Ciupierdo. After some careless play in the Astral Roots Gdynia defense, Patricio Nesto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sébastien Marionneau. The Astral Roots Gdynia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sébastien Marionneau should have stopped the shot. Sébastien Marionneau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Nesto in the 42nd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kacper Zbydniowski made a kick off.
