Veronica Ortiz tried in the 6th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Camilo Honesto a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-0. In the 9th match minute, Las Momias F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nacho Nuñez to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute of the match Luís Gustavo Gerber shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Camilo Honesto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 12th match minute, Guará FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustave Martinot to maneuver through the defense. Patricio Nesto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emílio Motta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. In the 22nd match minute, Guará FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavinho Alagoano to maneuver through the defense. Camilo Honesto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but José Paulo Cruz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 25 minute of play. Camilo Honesto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavinho Alagoano in the 33rd minute of play. Elói Bezerra hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the match, Guará FC's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Lleir came free, but Emílio Motta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44 played minutes Guará FC got a freekick which was hit by José Paulo Cruz. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Haroldo Lleir made a kick off. Guará FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luís Gustavo Gerber in the 51st minute. After taking down the ball on Guará FC's corner Luís Gustavo Gerber fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Camilo Honesto quite easily take care of the ball. In the 53rd minute of the match, Patricio Nesto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Emílio Motta saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some careless play in the Las Momias F. C. defense, Flavinho Alagoano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camilo Honesto. The Las Momias F. C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camilo Honesto should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Flavinho Alagoano put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Camilo Honesto. Las Momias F. C.'s Camilo Honesto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Gustavo Gerber in the 72nd minute of play. Emílio Motta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Nesto in the 76th minute of play. When Erasmo James fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Las Momias F. C.'s protests and gave Erasmo James a yellow card for diving instead. Camilo Honesto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavinho Alagoano in the 80th minute of the match. Las Momias F. C.'s Patricio Nesto got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emílio Motta made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Haroldo Lleir sent off a good shot on target. 88 minutes into the game, Haroldo Lleir cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Emílio Motta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Camilo Honesto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Gustavo Gerber, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Many of Las Momias F. C.'s supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Las Momias F. C. may have spent more time on the ball, but Guará FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
