IFK Gladdarna's Kurt Ekberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Brun in the 13th minute of play. Snorre Snabb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Laffitte having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddie Stenberg in the 25th minute of play forced Gelp 22's goalkeeper Zacarias Laffitte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zizou Zidane could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Zacarias Laffitte made a huge save. Zacarias Laffitte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddie Stenberg in the 28th minute of the match. Freddie Stenbergs short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Zacarias Laffitte to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. IFK Gladdarna's Snorre Snabb got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. IFK Gladdarna's Kurt Ekberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Muc in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Gelp 22's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Freddie Stenberg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 46 minutes into the match, Martin Sundin notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Gelp 22's Zacarias Laffitte. Zacarias Laffitte was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and German Brun made a kick off. Zacarias Laffitte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddie Stenberg in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th match minute, IFK Gladdarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calle Glader to maneuver through the defense. Zacarias Laffitte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Sundin, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. IFK Gladdarna's Kurt Ekberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Brun in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Freddie Stenberg made a precise shot to the right of Zacarias Laffitte. Gelp 22's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Snorre Snabb recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 71 minutes of play, IFK Gladdarna's Martin Sundin made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zacarias Laffitte was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Freddie Stenberg in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zacarias Laffitte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Alberto Martxelin fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gelp 22's protests and gave Alberto Martxelin a yellow card for diving instead. Freddie Stenberg hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. If Freddie Stenberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zacarias Laffitte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martin Sundin went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Zacarias Laffitte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddie Stenberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Martin Sundin sped through Gelp 22's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zacarias Laffitte. Snorre Snabb struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Zacarias Laffitte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IFK Gladdarna. If Snorre Snabb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that IFK Gladdarna were the better team. IFK Gladdarna's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
