Robin Bäckström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cam Bahč's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Cam Bahč put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Robin Bäckström. The supporters of IFK Gladdarna booed when The Northmen Army was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christopher Ahlerot didn't get a good kick on the ball. IFK Gladdarna's Kurt Ekberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christopher Ahlerot in the 18th minute of play. Robin Bäckström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddie Stenberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, IFK Gladdarna's Conny Olsson got a free kick in the 25th minute. With 32 minutes on the clock, Conny Olsson commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 32 minutes into the game, one of IFK Gladdarna:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Kurt Ekberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Olofsson in the 38th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, The Northmen Army's Hjalmar Håkansson got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Freddie Stenberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robin Bäckström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Christian Olofsson hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Freddie Stenberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Olgierd Misiorowski thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Robin Bäckström, a very annoying self made goal in the 66th minute which led to 3-1. Kiko Zimbo struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Kurt Ekberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Northmen Army. IFK Gladdarna's Kurt Ekberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save IFK Gladdarna from getting a goal against them. In the 72nd minute Christopher Ahlerot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurt Ekberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Olgierd Misiorowski fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Northmen Army's protests and gave Olgierd Misiorowski a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th minute there was a penalty for IFK Gladdarna. Cam Bahč stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Robin Bäckström. 4-1. 79 minutes into the match, IFK Gladdarna's goalkeeper Kurt Ekberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teobald Polakowski. Kurt Ekberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hershel Guertin in the 81st minute of play. Martin Sundin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as The Northmen Army's Kiko Zimbo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kurt Ekberg. That made the score 4-2 after 96 minutes of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the The Northmen Army players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for IFK Gladdarna.
