Kurt Ekberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantin Seremet in the 10th minute of play. Rova Rosiori's Santiago Endura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Rova Rosiori from getting a goal against them. Kurt Ekberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantin Seremet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, Martin Sundin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 18th minute, Avram Teodorescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. IFK Gladdarna's Kenneth Lööf got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Constantin Seremet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kurt Ekberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. After some careless play in the IFK Gladdarna defense, Constantin Seremet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kurt Ekberg. The IFK Gladdarna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kurt Ekberg should have stopped the shot. 43 minutes into the match, Rova Rosiori's Eusebiu Pintea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kurt Ekberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Snorre Snabb charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Snorre Snabb the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th minute, Snorre Snabb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The IFK Gladdarna players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rova Rosiori were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Constantin Seremet was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Rova Rosiori's goal looked a bit too open when Tuur Candries came free, but Santiago Endura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tuur Candries sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute, Eusebiu Pintea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kurt Ekberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 64 minutes into the match, IFK Gladdarna's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebiu Pintea came free, but Kurt Ekberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 69th minute by Constantin Seremet got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, IFK Gladdarna's Adrián Serena got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 76 minutes into the match, Rova Rosiori's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Sundin came free, but Santiago Endura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of IFK Gladdarna booed when Rova Rosiori was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Simionescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Panait Tincu kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Santiago Endura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Snorre Snabb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rova Rosiori's Tiberiu Bojin managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Adrián Serena in the 87 minute of the game. Constantin Seremet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Kurt Ekberg made a huge save.
