After having played for 7 minutes, German Brun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gelp 22's supporters crossed their fingers, but German Brun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bartolo Paez's late challenge caught a Guará FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bartolo Paez helped the player get up and apologised. Bartolo Paez kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute of the match Oscar de Andrade shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zacarias Laffitte showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gelp 22's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by German Brun in the 17th minute. German Brun made a great header on Gelp 22's corner, it was just that Guará FC's Célio Mendonça managed to reach the ball for a save. Vinicio Muc in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Célio Mendonça, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The nice shot from Vinicio Muc in the 22ndth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Célio Mendonça had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. 23 minutes into the match, Guará FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vinicio Muc came free, but Célio Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zacarias Laffitte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristóvão Mattos in the 24th minute of the match. Guará FC's Célio Mendonça proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Guará FC from getting a goal against them. Gelp 22's Zacarias Laffitte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristóvão Mattos in the 36th minute of play. A collision led to Guará FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Oscar de Andrade hit a great ball. Guará FC's Célio Mendonça proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Guará FC from getting a goal against them. Gelp 22's Zacarias Laffitte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thiago Matorin in the 44th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and German Brun made a kick off. In the 53rd minute German Brun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Célio Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Célio Mendonça came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Gelp 22's German Brun. But to his dismay, German Brun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Vinicio Muc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Célio Mendonça having to interfere. If German Brun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Célio Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from German Brun in the 67th minute of play. Guará FC's Célio Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Muc in the 70th minute of play. Gustavo Henrique hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Célio Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinicio Muc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guará FC's Célio Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Muc in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinicio Muc in the 74th minute of play forced Guará FC's goalkeeper Célio Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. German Brun shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 84 minutes into the match, Vinicio Muc notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Guará FC's Célio Mendonça. Célio Mendonça was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vinicio Muc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Célio Mendonça having to interfere. Célio Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinicio Muc in the 96th minute of play. Gelp 22 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
