Erkut Tun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olcay Bozkurt in the 30th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, SubaV's goal looked a bit too open when Vinícius Junior came free, but Erkut Tun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute Olcay Bozkurt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erkut Tun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erkut Tun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olcay Bozkurt's shot from short distance in the 38th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ercüment Acıbadem to make the kick off. Alexandros Iordanidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Kürşat Serdengeçti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute Vinícius Junior shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erkut Tun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the SubaV defense, Edgardo Ugutz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erkut Tun. The SubaV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erkut Tun should have stopped the shot. Erkut Tun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Ugutz in the 94th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched RO Army V55 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
