With a little luck, SteffosPojkar FF's Hubert Ahlfors got control of the ball when Ubaldo Kelemen tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Lycans FC's Min Beltranilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Andreasson in the 9th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Pieterjan Neef managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Lycans FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pieterjan Neef was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hubert Ahlfors breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Astor Ruy fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Lycans FC's protests and gave Astor Ruy a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of The Lycans FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SteffosPojkar FF:s goal. The supporters of The Lycans FC booed when SteffosPojkar FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariusz Niemoj didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hubert Ahlfors made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Hidalgo in the 28th minute of play. When Vicente Qwinton fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Lycans FC's protests and gave Vicente Qwinton a yellow card for diving instead. SteffosPojkar FF's Hubert Ahlfors proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save SteffosPojkar FF from getting a goal against them. Otto Kleiveland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Min Beltranilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pieterjan Neef could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Hubert Ahlfors made a huge save. Arnaldo Rami's late challenge caught a SteffosPojkar FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnaldo Rami helped the player get up and apologised. With an all-out effort, The Lycans FC's Hubert Ahlfors threw himself towards the right post 48 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pieterjan Neef, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

SteffosPojkar FF's Mats Kristiansson was substituted for Dan Hansson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radomir Karbowski in the 53rd minute of play forced SteffosPojkar FF's goalkeeper Hubert Ahlfors to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SteffosPojkar FF's Hubert Ahlfors played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radomir Karbowski in the 57th minute of play. In the 65th minute Arnaldo Rami shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hubert Ahlfors saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Radomir Karbowski made a precise shot to the right of Hubert Ahlfors. SteffosPojkar FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. 71 minutes into the game, The Lycans FC's Radomir Karbowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hubert Ahlfors made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. In the 74th minute Jonatan Andreasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Min Beltranilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Min Beltranilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonatan Andreasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Lycans FC's Min Beltranilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save The Lycans FC from getting a goal against them. Hubert Ahlfors showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radomir Karbowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Hubert Ahlfors came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by The Lycans FC's Radomir Karbowski. But to his dismay, Radomir Karbowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Vicente Qwinton was shown his second yellow card after 86 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 87 played minutes The Lycans FC got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Qwinton. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The The Lycans FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while SteffosPojkar FF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
