After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Vladimir Moskvin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pó de DiaManTe FMZ 4ÉVER's supporters rose to their feet, but Vladimir Moskvin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chico Donato breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16th minute of the match, Roberto Lopes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but João Adolfo Lago saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Chico Donato didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valdomiro Matos went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Valdomiro Matos might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chico Donato. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valdomiro Matos ran back to his position shaking his head. 23 minutes into the match, Pó de DiaManTe FMZ 4ÉVER's goalkeeper João Adolfo Lago had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olivier Gilg. João Adolfo Lago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Lopes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pó de DiaManTe FMZ 4ÉVER's João Adolfo Lago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Lopes in the 26th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, José Augusto Lara dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of João Adolfo Lago, 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valdomiro Matos in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chico Donato prevented the ball from getting in the gole. João Adolfo Lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Lopes in the 34th minute of play. Chico Donato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Jacinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute of the match Pó de DiaManTe FMZ 4ÉVER got a corner. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Patrick Vidal ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Eraldo Pompilio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Chico Donato did a great save. In the 47th minute Olivier Gilg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Adolfo Lago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Augusto Lara to make the kick off. Armandinho Vieira hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After 64 minutes DIPLOMATA FC PAB's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Patrick Vidal who took care of the corner kick. Chico Donato made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Vladimir Moskvin sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to DIPLOMATA FC PAB getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Armandinho Vieira hit a great ball. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Niculae Martinescu was substituted for Olivier Gilg. After 71 played minutes DIPLOMATA FC PAB got a freekick which was hit by Armandinho Vieira. 75 minutes into the game, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Roberto Lopes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Adolfo Lago made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. João Adolfo Lago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Augusto Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. With a little luck, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Chico Donato got control of the ball when Marino Montrelle tried to sneak it across the goal line. Niculae Martinescu took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Adolfo Lago. João Adolfo Lago dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
