If Topi Nick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the game, Wang Jun Xi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ovidiu Caranfil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Valto Virtala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Ovidiu Caranfil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Topi Nick in the 42nd minute of play. When Valto Virtala came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valto Virtala couldn't finish the play. After 46 minutes, Romeo Galiceanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Vertigo and the SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT players grew even worse after the yellow card. Romeo Galiceanu hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. 49 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Vertigo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Juaneizu Llantaron was slow to take the kick. During this time SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT's players had a chance to rest. SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT's Juaneizu Llantaron was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ovidiu Caranfil in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd match minute, Club Vertigo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikulás Benediktsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute Topi Nick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Caranfil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT's Tom Røise played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ştefan Panțuru in the 54th minute of play.
