The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Arne Back cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Pekko Badla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pekko Badla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aron Blom, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Pekko Badla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arne Back in the 10th minute of play. Mountainhammer United's Roar Klev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Ihm in the 11th minute of play. The supporters of Mountainhammer United booed when Alemannia Aachen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliver Baß didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alemannia Aachen's Pekko Badla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arne Back in the 18th minute of play. Aron Blom took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pekko Badla. Pekko Badla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 25 minutes into the game, Arne Back cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Pekko Badla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pekko Badla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mårten Olsman in the 33rd minute of play. Alemannia Aachen's Pekko Badla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mårten Olsman in the 34th minute of play. Pekko Badla came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Mountainhammer United's Arne Back. But to his dismay, Arne Back quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Aron Blom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Pekko Badla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Alemannia Aachen's Thomas Bressem got a free kick in the 41st minute. 42 minutes into the game, Mountainhammer United's Christoffer Häll nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pekko Badla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Pekko Badla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aron Blom, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aron Blom in the 47th minute of play forced Alemannia Aachen's goalkeeper Pekko Badla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arne Back to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Mårten Olsman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pekko Badla. The goal made the score 0-7. In the 56th minute, Mountainhammer United's Christoffer Häll ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pekko Badla. Pekko Badla yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Pekko Badla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aron Blom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christoffer Häll fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pekko Badla having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Mårten Olsman made a precise shot to the right of Pekko Badla. Alemannia Aachen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. 65 minutes into the game, Arne Back recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pekko Badla. Arne Back showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-10. Aron Blom had several of the Alemannia Aachen's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 69 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-11 score and a disappointed Pekko Badla as he didn't even see the shot coming. 75 minutes into the game, Mountainhammer United's Aron Blom nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pekko Badla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-13. Pekko Badla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Henric Bållström went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-14 was the resulting score. The supporters of Alemannia Aachen booed when Mountainhammer United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludomil Bucyki didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Arne Back had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pekko Badla. Alemannia Aachen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arne Back was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-15. Aron Blom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Aron Blom left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mountainhammer United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-16. Pekko Badla was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Arne Back capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arne Back really showed his touch with that goal: 0-17. After some careless play in the Alemannia Aachen defense, Mårten Olsman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pekko Badla. The Alemannia Aachen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pekko Badla should have stopped the shot. Mountainhammer United's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
