Corneliu Dridu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Noce having to interfere. 10 minutes into the game, Jan-Kenneth Skog threw the ball into play from the sideline. Dr Lecter SC's Dieguinho de Medeiros quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Enzo Noce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corneliu Dridu in the 11th minute of play. Ni Zhan Kun hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Dr Lecter SC's Cosme Pere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alin Armeanca in the 22nd minute of play. Pierre Kalu hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Alin Armeanca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Cosme Pere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game was made by Jan-Kenneth Skog with Marian Banas as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When The Nerd Herd's Marian Banas in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dr Lecter SC's goalie prevented a goal. Cosme Pere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marian Banas in the 38th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the game, Marian Banas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Cosme Pere was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Enzo Noce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Corneliu Dridu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dr Lecter SC's Corneliu Dridu got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Corneliu Dridu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Omid Kaulbach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo Noce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd match minute, Dr Lecter SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efe Tamer to maneuver through the defense. Marian Banas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Pere having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Corneliu Dridu during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 70th minute, Corneliu Dridu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dr Lecter SC's Cosme Pere proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Dr Lecter SC from getting a goal against them. Enzo Noce stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Corneliu Dridu's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. With a little luck, Dr Lecter SC's Cosme Pere got control of the ball when Marian Banas tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Dr Lecter SC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Domingos Da Guía hit a great ball. Marian Banas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Cosme Pere made a huge save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. The Nerd Herd had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
