When Hassan Marcou came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the GG Team FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hassan Marcou couldn't finish the play. Fortunato Montini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ştefan Panțuru in the 7th minute of the match. Ovidiu Caranfil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Man, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute, Dennis Man got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dennis Man blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ovidiu Caranfil having to make a save. Fortunato Montini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Well-Well Benne in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Well-Well Benne in the 16th minute of play forced GG Team FC's goalkeeper Fortunato Montini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ovidiu Caranfil made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Dennis Man sent off a good shot on target. In the 22nd match minute, GG Team FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Cârstea to maneuver through the defense. After 24 played minutes Club Vertigo got a freekick which was hit by Nechifor Cucerdean. If Well-Well Benne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dennis Man sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Club Vertigo's Ovidiu Caranfil got control of the ball when Dennis Man tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of GG Team FC booed when Club Vertigo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Well-Well Benne didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the match, GG Team FC's Dennis Man sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ovidiu Caranfil narrowly saved just below the crossbar. GG Team FC's Fortunato Montini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ştefan Panțuru in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th match minute, Club Vertigo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Well-Well Benne to maneuver through the defense. Ovidiu Caranfil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Man in the 41st minute of play. Dennis Man blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ovidiu Caranfil having to make a save. Ovidiu Caranfil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dennis Man in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ştefan Panțuru to make the kick off. After 58 played minutes GG Team FC got a freekick which was hit by Elia Guerini. Romeo Galiceanu kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 78th minute of the match Club Vertigo got a corner. GG Team FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wang Jun Bo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Club Vertigo's Wang Jun Bo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fortunato Montini in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 80 minutes into the match, Club Vertigo's goal looked a bit too open when Amedeo Alfani came free, but Ovidiu Caranfil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute GG Team FC were awarded a corner. Patryk Ulmark went to the cornerflag to take it. GG Team FC's Elia Guerini was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ovidiu Caranfil in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Ştefan Panțuru took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Fortunato Montini to make any attempt to save it. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Vertigo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Patryk Ulmark was slow to take the kick. During this time GG Team FC's players had a chance to rest. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wang Jun Bo during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of Club Vertigo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of GG Team FC:s goal. The referee gave GG Team FC a penalty, 92 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bernardo Scandella, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Club Vertigo's Ovidiu Caranfil. 3-1. There was no doubt that GG Team FC were the better team. GG Team FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
