A sloppy throw-in by Celso Barrientos in the 80th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by The Nerd Herd's Rab 谢霆锋. 86 minutes into the match, The Nerd Herd's Marian Banas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hong Qing narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 87th minute of the match The Nerd Herd got a corner. Club Atlético Lea Papá's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Odysseas Lagidis ran over to the corner to take the kick. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing The Nerd Herd would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
