After some careless play in the RO Army V55 defense, Manu Gyselinx kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dimitris Stathakos. The RO Army V55 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dimitris Stathakos should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Sokratis Symeonakis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. The coaching staff of KFC Paal-Tervant protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tobias Geeraerts had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Tobias Geeraerts kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in KFC Paal-Tervant's zone, Manos Komaitis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt came out of the goal and Manos Komaitis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sokratis Symeonakis in the 40th minute. Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt was a little too slow when Sokratis Symeonakis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 3-2. Fanis Kapernekas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt having to interfere. Sokratis Symeonakis's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt firmly grabbed it by the left post.

When RO Army V55's Fanis Kapernekas in 52 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After having played for 54 minutes, Sokratis Symeonakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RO Army V55's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sokratis Symeonakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sokratis Symeonakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Fanis Kapernekas sped through KFC Paal-Tervant's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt. Alexandre Portai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitris Stathakos having to interfere. After a rather tough play, KFC Paal-Tervant's Lukas De Keuster got a free kick in the 65th minute. Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sokratis Symeonakis's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sokratis Symeonakis in the 68th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, William Vanden Driessche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dimitris Stathakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Hofnagels in the 76th minute of the match. Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sokratis Symeonakis in the 82nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fanis Kapernekas in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt saved KFC Paal-Tervant from getting behind. After 86 played minutes KFC Paal-Tervant got a freekick which was hit by William Vanden Driessche. Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sokratis Symeonakis went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, KFC Paal-Tervant's William Vanden Driessche got a free kick in the 94th minute. Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sokratis Symeonakis in the 96th minute of play. There was no doubt that RO Army V55 were the better team. RO Army V55's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
