Nuno Porto took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arthur Albuquerque. Arthur Albuquerque dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Adam George hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, Lofi Girl Portimao's goalkeeper Afonso Mourato had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laerte Pereira. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomás Custódio in the 19th minute of play forced Lofi Girl Portimao's goalkeeper Afonso Mourato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thomás Custódio hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Nuno Porto took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arthur Albuquerque. Arthur Albuquerque dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. When Diogo Ferreira fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flying Dutch's protests and gave Diogo Ferreira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th match minute, Flying Dutch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diogo Ferreira to maneuver through the defense. When Márcio Furlan fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flying Dutch's protests and gave Márcio Furlan a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Lofi Girl Portimao booed when Flying Dutch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Márcio Furlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arthur Albuquerque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Matos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Josué Esparteiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Afonso Mourato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinho Quadros, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 41st minute, Josué Esparteiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudinho Quadros was the one to do the kick off. Arthur Albuquerque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Márcio Furlan kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Flying Dutch's zone, Joaquim Matos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arthur Albuquerque came out of the goal and Joaquim Matos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lofi Girl Portimao's Ramiro Medeiros was substituted for Israel Brás. Arthur Albuquerque made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquim Matos in the 63rd minute. Afonso Mourato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinho Quadros in the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laerte Pereira in the 73rd minute of play forced Lofi Girl Portimao's goalkeeper Afonso Mourato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joaquim Matos during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 75 played minutes Lofi Girl Portimao got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Matos. In the 76thth minute of the game Claudinho Quadros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lofi Girl Portimao's Afonso Mourato was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Nuno Porto fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lofi Girl Portimao's protests and gave Nuno Porto a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Lofi Girl Portimao getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Nuno Porto hit a great ball. Thomás Custódio kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. The supporters of Flying Dutch booed when Lofi Girl Portimao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam George didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute of the match Diogo Ferreira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Afonso Mourato showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Claudinho Quadros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flying Dutch's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudinho Quadros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Afonso Mourato breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Lofi Girl Portimao booed when Flying Dutch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldir Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Melo came free with the goalkeeper in the 87th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Arthur Albuquerque could save by the left post. Arthur Albuquerque was a little too slow when Alcides Porto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 0-3. When Claudinho Quadros fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flying Dutch's protests and gave Claudinho Quadros a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st minute, Claudinho Quadros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Melo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Arthur Albuquerque made a huge save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lofi Girl Portimao had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
