Rathmore Lime Tree's Sofyane Valognes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Folke Rydelius in the 6th minute of play. Gärsnäs BF's Joel Wall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adil Magaud in the 13th minute of play. Johannes Lindman hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the game, Gert Norström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Sofyane Valognes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alex Kellbom charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Kellbom the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adil Magaud in the 30th minute of play forced Gärsnäs BF's goalkeeper Joel Wall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Gärsnäs BF's Joel Wall got control of the ball when Flavian Garcon tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Rathmore Lime Tree's zone, Rickard Ugla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sofyane Valognes came out of the goal and Rickard Ugla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Rathmore Lime Tree getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Johan Dufrenne hit a great ball. Joel Wall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adil Magaud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Flavian Garcon reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Joel Wall. The goal made the score 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adil Magaud to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Flavian Garcon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rathmore Lime Tree's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavian Garcon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gert Norström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 58th minute, Paul-Émile Brien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joel Wall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavian Garcon, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 69 minutes into the game, Mikael Arvidsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Sofyane Valognes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 74 minutes, Brandon Pardon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rathmore Lime Tree and the Gärsnäs BF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Gärsnäs BF booed when Rathmore Lime Tree was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brandon Pardon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute of the match Gert Norström shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sofyane Valognes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavian Garcon in the 78th minute of play forced Gärsnäs BF's goalkeeper Joel Wall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Wall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavian Garcon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benoît Lamarre hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute of the game Alex Kellbom made a throw-in which Gert Norström played forward. After some careless play in the Gärsnäs BF defense, Flavian Garcon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joel Wall. The Gärsnäs BF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joel Wall should have stopped the shot. 94 minutes into the match, Gärsnäs BF's goal looked a bit too open when Adil Magaud came free, but Joel Wall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Rathmore Lime Tree support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
