Walter Jönsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Arthur Albuquerque made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Magnus Björkqvist took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Arthur Albuquerque to make any attempt to save it. Arthur Albuquerque made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Walter Jönsson sent off a good shot on target. Claudinho Quadros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Onsala Ass Kickers's Jan Björnberg quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Márcio Furlan, made in the 26th minute of the game. In the 27th minute, Onsala Ass Kickers's Walter Jönsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arthur Albuquerque. Arthur Albuquerque yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magnus Björkqvist in the 36th minute of play forced Flying Dutch's goalkeeper Arthur Albuquerque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Yan Urbano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The wind increased when Walter Jönsson made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Flying Dutch booed when Onsala Ass Kickers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Åke Biörkquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arthur Albuquerque breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Mazinho da Rocha took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Rickard Wiklund to make any attempt to save it. Yan Urbano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Rickard Wiklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flying Dutch's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
