Peter-Michael Schmeichel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 庄辉雄 in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 36th minute Malin Karolev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter-Michael Schmeichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peter-Michael Schmeichel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malin Karolev in the 40th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudio Caniglia got free with Jan Figlewski in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peter-Michael Schmeichel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 庄辉雄, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claudio Caniglia to strike the kick off in the second half. Abutres 2003 FDP's Jan Figlewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Caniglia in the 52nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Janusze Futbolu's zone, Chiquinho Pombal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter-Michael Schmeichel came out of the goal and Chiquinho Pombal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th match minute, Abutres 2003 FDP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Qu Yao Yang to maneuver through the defense. Abutres 2003 FDP were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
