Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Bonifacio Naldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Booth in the 8th minute of play. Bonifacio Naldo stood somewhat misplaced when Tim Hurren came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 13 minute. Tim Hurren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bonifacio Naldo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serginho Silva in the 23rd minute of play forced Witney City's goalkeeper Tommy Bond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Atletico Calamar Saavedra's goalkeeper Bonifacio Naldo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leon Swanson. Tommy Bond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Fliz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tommy Bond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serginho Silva in the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Witney City's goal looked a bit too open when Epifanio Koldobika came free, but Tommy Bond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Serginho Silva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Bond made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Tommy Bond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serginho Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Serginho Silva was the one to do the kick off. Atletico Calamar Saavedra's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abel Esiquio in the 52nd minute. It was a well-played corner which Epifanio Koldobika managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Tommy Bond didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Epifanio Koldobika went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Tommy Bond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Segundo Oton, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute Segundo Oton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Bond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Witney City's Leon Swanson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bonifacio Naldo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Serginho Silva kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tommy Bond. That made the score 2-6 in the 87 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Epifanio Koldobika in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Bond saved Witney City from getting behind. Leon Swanson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Bonifacio Naldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
