Terry Glaser kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Hamílton Sampaio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Karl Kugler made a huge save. Karl Kugler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Guerrero in the 67th minute of play. In the 73rd minute Meng Rong Zhou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Kugler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
