If Edgard Mangueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Şaban Selman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Quirino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute, C.A Gryffindor's Jacinto Quirino ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Şaban Selman. Şaban Selman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Otomasyon Gençlik F.K.'s Şaban Selman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Quirino in the 16th minute of play. Mücahit Akoğlu made in the 21st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Kutalp Okhan however managed to control. 28 minutes into the match, C.A Gryffindor's Jacinto Quirino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Şaban Selman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chicão de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Altuğ Zeval in the 31st minute of play. C.A Gryffindor's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Karl-Erik Magnusson in the 34th minute. Matthijs De Ligt was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 41st minute Jacinto Quirino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şaban Selman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Karl-Erik Magnusson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Şaban Selman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A throw-in in the 47th minute of the game was made by Mücahit Akoğlu with Kutalp Okhan as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jacinto Quirino to make the kick off. In the 50th match minute, C.A Gryffindor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Mangueira to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacinto Quirino in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Şaban Selman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mücahit Akoğlu made in the 58th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Kutalp Okhan immediately put the ball in play. In the 60th minute Jacinto Quirino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şaban Selman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Uygur Bozok hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute of the match, Macit Birsen got a very nice opportunity to score, but Chicão de Azevedo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Şaban Selman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Quirino in the 71st minute of the match. C.A Gryffindor's Paredes Pedrera was substituted for Marquinhos Filho. C.A Gryffindor made a substitution. Guilherme Mazer replaced Jacinto Quirino. The throw-in from Mücahit Akoğlu in the 74th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by C.A Gryffindor's Sarracino Marsano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guilherme Mazer in the 80th minute of play forced Otomasyon Gençlik F.K.'s goalkeeper Şaban Selman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Guilherme Mazer managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A Gryffindor's supporters rose to their feet, but Guilherme Mazer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Şaban Selman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 83 played minutes Otomasyon Gençlik F.K. got a freekick which was hit by Mücahit Akoğlu. Ferid Hazar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Chicão de Azevedo made a huge save. 89 minutes into the game, C.A Gryffindor's Guilherme Mazer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Şaban Selman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 92 minutes into the match, Paredes Pedrera notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Otomasyon Gençlik F.K.'s Şaban Selman. Şaban Selman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The C.A Gryffindor fans cheered their team off the field, for while Otomasyon Gençlik F.K. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
