The audience thought a goal was coming when Macit Birsen got free with Wang Cheng in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 12 minutes into the game, Gärsnäs BF's Bo Drake nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Şaban Selman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. A collision led to Gärsnäs BF getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Bo-Erik Skröder hit a great ball. Emil Dahlberg took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Şaban Selman. Şaban Selman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Şaban Selman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingvar Nyqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wang Cheng made an important save on a dangerous shot by Macit Birsen in the 27th minute. Bo Drake took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Şaban Selman. Şaban Selman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Wang Cheng made an important save on a dangerous shot by Macit Birsen in the 35th minute. Şaban Selman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingvar Nyqvist in the 37th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Otomasyon Gençlik F.K.'s zone, Emil Dahlberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emil Dahlberg was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferid Hazar in the 51st minute of play forced Gärsnäs BF's goalkeeper Wang Cheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Otomasyon Gençlik F.K. booed when Gärsnäs BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingvar Nyqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Macit Birsen in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wang Cheng prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 58th minute Ferid Hazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wang Cheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ant Kazakhan's late challenge caught a Gärsnäs BF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Gärsnäs BF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
