Wilhelm Cane started the match with the kick off. Bernt Hellkvist hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Harald Myr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orvar Stenquist in the 4th minute of the match. A well done corner resulted in Wilhelm Cane drilling the ball in to score 1-0 behind Kronan's goalkeeper. 8 minutes into the match, Kronan's goal looked a bit too open when Orvar Stenquist came free, but Harald Myr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hermanö Oilers's Patrik Holmberg got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 12th minute, Patrik Holmberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Harald Myr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Erik Holmgren in the 14th minute of the match. Kronan's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Sven-Edvin Karlberg scored to the left of an out of position Harald Myr, making the score, 2-0. Wilhelm Cane came free with the goalkeeper in the 20th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Harald Myr could save by the left post. Harald Myr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orvar Stenquist, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Harald Myr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orvar Stenquist in the 27th minute of the match. After 31 played minutes Hermanö Oilers got a freekick which was hit by Ronny Blom. In the 33rd minute, Svante Abrahamsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hermanö Oilers's Patrik Holmberg got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Sven-Edvin Karlberg took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Harald Myr to make any attempt to save it. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hermanö Oilers's goalkeeper Sonny Åkesson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Anders Vennersten kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernt Hellkvist was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Ola Samuelsson in the 51st minute of play forced Hermanö Oilers's goalkeeper Sonny Åkesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpected shot in the 55th minute by Patrik Arhenius got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Harald Myr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Erik Holmgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Birger Alströmer kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Kronan's Patrik Arhenius got a free kick in the 61st minute. Kronan's Nils-Emil Österberg was substituted for Ola Nordin. After 62 played minutes Kronan got a freekick which was hit by Patrik Arhenius. Harald Myr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Edvin Karlberg in the 64th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Kronan's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Erik Holmgren came free, but Harald Myr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Hermanö Oilers's goalkeeper Sonny Åkesson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernt Hellkvist. Bernt Hellkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sonny Åkesson having to interfere. Jan-Erik Holmgren took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Harald Myr. Harald Myr dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. With his leg Sonny Åkesson managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Kronan's Bernt Hellkvist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Orvar Stenquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Harald Myr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Johan Grelsson hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. A collision led to Kronan getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Birger Alströmer hit a great ball. Harald Myr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Holmberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 96 played minutes Hermanö Oilers got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Erik Holmgren. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Hermanö Oilers fully deserved thier win.
