Hermanö Oilers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anton Mattsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Hermanö Oilers's Patrik Holmberg got a free kick in the 7th minute. After 12 minutes, Jonathan Kvarnström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hermanö Oilers and the Gone With the Win players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th minute, Jonathan Kvarnström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 18 played minutes Gone With the Win got a freekick which was hit by Jermaine Wroe. 24 minutes into the match, Gone With the Win's goalkeeper Ed Ingram had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orvar Stenquist. Jez Mabbutt kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute of the match, Orvar Stenquist tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ed Ingram saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 34 minutes into the match, Hermanö Oilers's goal looked a bit too open when Jimmy Mulford came free, but Sonny Åkesson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Eglington in the 45th minute of play forced Hermanö Oilers's goalkeeper Sonny Åkesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ingemar Stålman to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Kyle Eglington could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Sonny Åkesson however easily saved by the left post. 58 minutes into the match, Orvar Stenquist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ed Ingram. Gone With the Win's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Orvar Stenquist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Ed Ingram made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Erik Holmgren in the 72nd minute of play. After 75 minutes of play, Hermanö Oilers's Jan-Erik Holmgren made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ed Ingram was left in no man's land by his defense there! Orvar Stenquist hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Gone With the Win defense, Anton Mattsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ed Ingram. The Gone With the Win fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ed Ingram should have stopped the shot. After 87 minutes of play, Hermanö Oilers's Orvar Stenquist made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ed Ingram was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Hermanö Oilers had played much better football throughout.
