An unexpectedly hard shot by Elia Pietrantoni in the 10th minute of play forced Gärsnäs BF's goalkeeper Wang Cheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Gärsnäs BF's goal looked a bit too open when Elia Pietrantoni came free, but Wang Cheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Gärsnäs BF's Dane Friebe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Damiano Battisti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Eurospeed Asti's Damiano Battisti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maido Niit in the 41st minute of play. Damiano Battisti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingvar Nyqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wang Cheng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grant Irø in the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Fortunato Borromeo put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Wang Cheng. In the 75th minute of the match, Ingvar Nyqvist tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Damiano Battisti saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Wang Cheng came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Eurospeed Asti's Elia Pietrantoni. But to his dismay, Elia Pietrantoni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. When Fortunato Borromeo fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eurospeed Asti's protests and gave Fortunato Borromeo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gärsnäs BF's goalkeeper Wang Cheng, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, Gärsnäs BF's goal looked a bit too open when Elia Pietrantoni came free, but Wang Cheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wang Cheng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grant Irø, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 92nd minute Elia Pietrantoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wang Cheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Eurospeed Asti fully deserved thier win.
