Gone With the Win
Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Stuart Brayson started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Zgierskie Zlewy's Jan Andrzejewski got control of the ball when Stuart Brayson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gone With the Win's Jimmy Mulford managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jimmy Berardi in the 22 minute of the game. Jimmy Berardi made in the 23rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Krzysztof Petrasz. 30 minutes into the match, Napoleon Literski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ed Ingram. Gone With the Win's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Napoleon Literski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Zgierskie Zlewy's Jan Andrzejewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stuart Brayson in the 33rd minute of play. Lawrence Carroll sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dobromir Rukszcz in the 43rd minute of play forced Gone With the Win's goalkeeper Ed Ingram to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateusz Fujara kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Barnaba Bazylnikov to make the kick off. When Napoleon Literski came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Zgierskie Zlewy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Napoleon Literski couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Zgierskie Zlewy getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Jimmy Berardi hit a great ball. Stuart Brayson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Andrzejewski having to interfere. When Stuart Brayson came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Gone With the Win fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stuart Brayson couldn't finish the play. Lawrence Carroll hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Gone With the Win defense, Dobromir Rukszcz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ed Ingram. The Gone With the Win fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ed Ingram should have stopped the shot. 73 minutes into the match, Gone With the Win's goal looked a bit too open when Walery Pilarski came free, but Ed Ingram reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute Stuart Brayson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Andrzejewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th match minute, Zgierskie Zlewy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dobromir Rukszcz to maneuver through the defense. Noel Saville took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jan Andrzejewski. Zgierskie Zlewy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Zgierskie Zlewy's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
