C.A Gryffindor's attentive Brian Montenegro managed to snatch the ball when Roy Lövskog made a throw-in in the 4th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Montenegro in the 7th minute of play forced Hamburg City Vampires's goalkeeper Eugeniusz Tyski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led to C.A Gryffindor's Marquinhos Filho getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Hamburg City Vampires's zone, Brian Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugeniusz Tyski came out of the goal and Brian Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes into the match, C.A Gryffindor's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Mendonça came free, but Cássio Corinth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A throw-in in the 20th minute of the game was made by Orest Bubniv with Bianco Lemme as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 29 minutes in the game Orest Bubniv did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Reinhard Borkmann. A sloppy throw-in by Orest Bubniv in the 30th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by C.A Gryffindor's Anıl Ozan Bardakçıoğlu. In the last second Eugeniusz Tyski throw himself and got hold of the ball when Brian Montenegro in the 31stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Eugeniusz Tyski came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by C.A Gryffindor's Brian Montenegro. But to his dismay, Brian Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 35 played minutes Hamburg City Vampires got a freekick which was hit by Bianco Lemme.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brian Montenegro to make the kick off. In the 50th minute, Tipper Mulvihill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Orest Bubniv made in the 53rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by C.A Gryffindor's Sarracino Marsano. With a little luck, C.A Gryffindor's Cássio Corinth got control of the ball when Fred Mendonça tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivica Lufen got free with Cássio Corinth in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cássio Corinth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinhard Borkmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Cássio Corinth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinhard Borkmann in the 66th minute of play. In the 70th minute Brian Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugeniusz Tyski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denílson Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugeniusz Tyski having to interfere. C.A Gryffindor's Edgard Mangueira was substituted for Denílson Lopes. Eugeniusz Tyski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Bergkamp, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After 91 minutes of play, C.A Gryffindor's Dennis Bergkamp made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eugeniusz Tyski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tomé de Alcântara charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomé de Alcântara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. C.A Gryffindor's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
