After a rather tough play, KoLiber's Leonard Kaczor got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 8th minute, Tadeusz Kornatowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to IFK Kik getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Harry Jonasson hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the match, KoLiber's Leonard Kaczor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kennet Åhlberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Egon Åkerström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ksawery Kochowski. That made the score 3-0 in the 24 minute of play. Tadeusz Kornatowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kennet Åhlberg having to interfere. Nils-Åke Kruuse scored 4-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ksawery Kochowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Tadeusz Kornatowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, Harry Jonasson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ksawery Kochowski, 5-0. In the 44th minute IFK Kik were awarded a corner. Patrik Myr went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Patrik Myr almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but KoLiber's Ksawery Kochowski did a great save. Kennet Åhlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Kaczor, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nils-Åke Kruuse to strike the kick off in the second half. Evert Lindberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ksawery Kochowski having to interfere. Leonard Kaczor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Åke Skoog in the 63rd minute of play forced KoLiber's goalkeeper Ksawery Kochowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, KoLiber's goal looked a bit too open when Egon Åkerström came free, but Ksawery Kochowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th match minute, KoLiber was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milosz Wojtyna to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the game, Nils-Åke Kruuse cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Ksawery Kochowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 73 minutes into the match, Nils-Åke Kruuse notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of KoLiber's Ksawery Kochowski. Ksawery Kochowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kennet Åhlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Kaczor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tadeusz Kornatowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Kennet Åhlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cyryl Kolbe made in the 79th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Milosz Wojtyna however managed to control. Ksawery Kochowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils-Åke Kruuse in the 81st minute of play. If Patrik Myr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonard Kaczor got free with Kennet Åhlberg in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. IFK Kik's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
