Ollie Flesfadar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Collinet in the 19th minute of the match. Dani Odd's late challenge caught a Avel Vat's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dani Odd helped the player get up and apologised. After 19 played minutes Australian Youth Academy got a freekick which was hit by Dani Odd. Olliver Todman kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Neville Schutt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simon Collinet struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Ollie Flesfadar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Avel Vat. Neville Schutt hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Ollie Flesfadar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Collinet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Avel Vat's Yves Amet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Avel Vat from getting a goal against them. When Erwan Clemenceau fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Avel Vat's protests and gave Erwan Clemenceau a yellow card for diving instead. After 38 played minutes Avel Vat got a freekick which was hit by Erwan Clemenceau. Ollie Flesfadar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erwan Clemenceau in the 44th minute of the match. After 46 minutes of play, Avel Vat's Erwan Clemenceau made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ollie Flesfadar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olliver Todman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Olliver Todman took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yves Amet. Yves Amet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of Australian Youth Academy:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Avel Vat:s goal. The referee gave Avel Vat a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Marco Nugues, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Australian Youth Academy's Ollie Flesfadar. 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Australian Youth Academy's zone, Simon Collinet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ollie Flesfadar came out of the goal and Simon Collinet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Antony Cuddihy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erwan Clemenceau was shown his second yellow card after 69 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Avel Vat getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Erwan Clemenceau hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute, Avel Vat's Simon Collinet dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Australian Youth Academy's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Simon Collinet 77 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Simon Collinet got free with Ollie Flesfadar in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 82 minutes into the match, Australian Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Collinet came free, but Ollie Flesfadar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute Antony Cuddihy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yves Amet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ollie Flesfadar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Simon Collinet showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 93 minute of play. The Australian Youth Academy supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Avel Vat's performance. The match ended with a win for Avel Vat.
