But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Régis Vides couldn't finish the play. 12 minutes into the game, Gildo de Souza lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Kennet Åhlberg. When Gildo de Souza came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the 卡納里尼奧 FC fans jumped to their feet. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gildo de Souza in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kennet Åhlberg saved IFK Kik from getting behind. IFK Kik's Evert Lindberg got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Agostinho Guedes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Kennet Åhlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evert Lindberg kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After 27 minutes, Laerte Marquez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 卡納里尼奧 FC and the IFK Kik players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th minute, Laerte Marquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Vítor Guimarães came out of the goal and Evert Lindberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. João Vítor Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils-Åke Kruuse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Laerte Marquez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Gildo de Souza made a precise shot to the right of Kennet Åhlberg. IFK Kik's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Nils-Åke Kruuse's late challenge caught a 卡納里尼奧 FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nils-Åke Kruuse helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th match minute, IFK Kik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils-Åke Kruuse to maneuver through the defense. Kennet Åhlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gildo de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gildo de Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kennet Åhlberg having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laerte Marquez in the 95th minute of play forced IFK Kik's goalkeeper Kennet Åhlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 卡納里尼奧 FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
