Nils-Åke Kruuse in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Janusz Grabski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egon Åkerström in the 15th minute of play forced Sosnowe Klimaty's goalkeeper Janusz Grabski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ziemowit Bryk scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kennet Åhlberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nils-Åke Kruuse kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. IFK Kik's Kennet Åhlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ziemowit Bryk in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute Hieronim Trela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kennet Åhlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Egon Åkerström fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored IFK Kik's protests and gave Egon Åkerström a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, IFK Kik's Egon Åkerström got a free kick in the 34th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hieronim Trela in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kennet Åhlberg saved IFK Kik from getting behind. Kennet Åhlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ziemowit Bryk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Nils-Åke Kruuse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hieronim Trela made a kick off. Hieronim Trela received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kennet Åhlberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Hieronim Trela slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 55th minute. Ziemowit Bryk had several of the IFK Kik's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 78 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-6 score and a disappointed Kennet Åhlberg as he didn't even see the shot coming. Ziemowit Bryks short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Kennet Åhlberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Sosnowe Klimaty's zone, Stig-Åke Skoog stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Janusz Grabski came out of the goal and Stig-Åke Skoog tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Sosnowe Klimaty getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Ziemowit Bryk hit a great ball. Kennet Åhlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hieronim Trela, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Hieronim Trela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sosnowe Klimaty played a much better game than IFK Kik and deserved their victory. The IFK Kik players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
