The supporters of CA Boca Jrs booed when New Loser FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Augusto Magalhães didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, New Loser FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ercole Ceresoli came free, but Eliseu Negri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CA Boca Jrs's Emanuele Guaita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandrinho Xavier in the 16th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Deivid Bittencourt put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Emanuele Guaita. Emanuele Guaita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Guimarães in the 42nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in CA Boca Jrs's zone, Evaristo Guimarães stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuele Guaita came out of the goal and Evaristo Guimarães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The CA Boca Jrs players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. New Loser FC were winning 0-2.

Antonello Fiore kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the game, Diego Tamburrini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CA Boca Jrs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave New Loser FC the free kick. In the 54th match minute, CA Boca Jrs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Tamburrini to maneuver through the defense. Duarte Azevedo struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. When the final whistle sounded New Loser FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than CA Boca Jrs.
