Emanuele Guaita came out of the goal and Léonard Beuve tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Simon Collinet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuele Guaita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Léonard Beuve in the 34th minute. Federico Monaco charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Federico Monaco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Federico Monaco hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Léonard Beuve to strike the kick off in the second half. Avel Vat's Yves Amet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Tozzi in the 64th minute of play. Emanuele Guaita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Collinet in the 67th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Léonard Beuve in the 74th minute of play forced CA Boca Jrs's goalkeeper Emanuele Guaita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Dennis Tozzi made a precise shot to the right of Yves Amet. Avel Vat's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Marco Nugues's late challenge caught a CA Boca Jrs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marco Nugues helped the player get up and apologised. CA Boca Jrs's Dennis Casciano was substituted for Ercole Ceresoli. Marco Nugues kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. CA Boca Jrs's Corrado Cicchetti got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Simon Collinet took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emanuele Guaita. Emanuele Guaita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Yves Amet made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Dennis Casciano sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Avel Vat's zone, Dennis Casciano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yves Amet came out of the goal and Dennis Casciano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
