After having played for 19 minutes, Alfred Hajder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Neville Schutt might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Janusz Grabski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After 94 played minutes Australian Youth Academy got a freekick which was hit by Antony Cuddihy. Braedan Duncan hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ziemowit Bryk in the 98th minute of play forced Australian Youth Academy's goalkeeper Ollie Flesfadar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Australian Youth Academy players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sosnowe Klimaty.
