Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Andoitz Talavera took the kick off in the first half of the match. Vito Justo charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vito Justo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 2 minutes into the game, one of Salud y República:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Australian Youth Academy's Ollie Flesfadar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Australian Youth Academy from getting a goal against them. Australian Youth Academy's Ollie Flesfadar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adulfo Teresa in the 12th minute of play. Alvino Galnares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olliver Todman in the 15th minute of play. When Dani Odd fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Australian Youth Academy's protests and gave Dani Odd a yellow card for diving instead. Ollie Flesfadar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Andoitz Talavera showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. Ollie Flesfadar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adulfo Teresa in the 22nd minute. Nicolao Aguado hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 25th match minute, Australian Youth Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brannan Reiter to maneuver through the defense. After 29 minutes of play, Salud y República's Adulfo Teresa made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ollie Flesfadar was left in no man's land by his defense there! 36 minutes into the match, Adulfo Teresa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ollie Flesfadar, 3-0. After some careless play in the Salud y República defense, Antony Cuddihy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alvino Galnares. The Salud y República fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvino Galnares should have stopped the shot. Andoitz Talavera's late challenge caught a Australian Youth Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andoitz Talavera helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olliver Todman in the 45th minute of play forced Salud y República's goalkeeper Alvino Galnares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Andoitz Talavera was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 47 minutes had been played. Andoitz Talavera kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olliver Todman was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Bradley Obree was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Australian Youth Academy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Salud y República the free kick. After 55 played minutes Salud y República got a freekick which was hit by Vito Justo. In the 58th minute, Adulfo Teresa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Salud y República fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. In the 60th minute, Olliver Todman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alvino Galnares. The goal made the score 4-2. Australian Youth Academy's Olliver Todman was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 66th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Dakota Gaffigan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Salud y República's goalkeeper Alvino Galnares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Berkeley Glover. Adulfo Teresa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the game, Salud y República's Uriel Solo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ollie Flesfadar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-3. Uriel Solo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ollie Flesfadar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. In the 90th minute Adulfo Teresa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ollie Flesfadar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 93 played minutes Salud y República got a freekick which was hit by Osoro Raya. Alvino Galnares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olliver Todman in the 95th minute of the match. Australian Youth Academy's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
