The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute, 卡納里尼奧 FC's Eliseu Alagoano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ksawery Kochowski. Ksawery Kochowski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. KoLiber's Ksawery Kochowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Damasceno in the 11th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, KoLiber was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wawrzyniec Pyczkowski to maneuver through the defense. When Artur Dombroski fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KoLiber's protests and gave Artur Dombroski a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of 卡納里尼奧 FC booed when KoLiber was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Dombroski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wawrzyniec Pyczkowski hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. The corner led KoLiber's Slawomir Majusiak to fire away a dangerous shot which João Vítor Guimarães despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, 卡納里尼奧 FC's Sidnei Dionísio got a free kick in the 34th minute. Elias Damasceno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ksawery Kochowski having to make a save. In the 42nd minute of the match 卡納里尼奧 FC got a corner. KoLiber's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Régis Vides ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of KoLiber's goalie and right to Armandinho Pombal. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. KoLiber's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. During the 47th minute of the match Artur Dombroski completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Artur Dombroski a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Artur Dombroski hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elias Damasceno to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes 卡納里尼奧 FC got a freekick which was hit by Agostinho Guedes. Jefferson Maia came free in the 53rd minute and tried to tip the ball over Ksawery Kochowski, but to the joy of KoLiber's supporters the ball went over. Vítor da Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Sidnei Dionísio kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Elias Damasceno took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ksawery Kochowski. Ksawery Kochowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. In the 76th minute, Eurico Paes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ksawery Kochowski came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by 卡納里尼奧 FC's Eliseu Alagoano. But to his dismay, Eliseu Alagoano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. If Agostinho Guedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84thth minute of the game Agostinho Guedes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KoLiber's Ksawery Kochowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 85 minutes, Eliseu Alagoano made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. KoLiber's Ksawery Kochowski tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Agostinho Guedes put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ksawery Kochowski. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. 卡納里尼奧 FC fully deserved thier win.
